There’s something calming about settling into a rhythm with a new stitch. This one quickly feels familiar — a back-and-forth of open spaces, little clusters, and steady double crochets that give it both texture and charm. It’s simple enough for relaxing evening crochet, yet interesting enough to keep you engaged.

If you’re looking for a stitch that feels light yet textured, this is a beautiful option. It works up in a four-row repeat, creating a nice balance between airy gaps and closed stitches. Perfect for blankets, summer tops, tablecloths, or scarves. Written in US crochet terms.
